Well, I’m going to rewrite my “paragraph” from the previous post on Beijing. The reason being, is that, when I read it, I can hear my L.A. (languange arts) book screaming at me, “What happened to your margins?!”, “Your sentences don’t support your topic sentence, If you even have any! “, “Why are all your sentences so broken up?” or maybe”Where is your variety of sentence patterns?”So I am going to rewrite it. See how hardworking I am? *coughs* and ofcorse if I take my time and type it out nicely here, I can just copy it when I need it for public speaking. Cleaver right?
The flight to Beijing was incredibly boring. My brothers and me were sitted in the center and the T.V. screen was very far away. Too far for my lousy half-powered glasses to read the subtitles on a Chinese show. So I ended up sleeping most of the time. There was a mix up with our food, and they gave the whole tour (16 people) VEGETARIAN food. *gag*. There I saw my dad’s true colours. Since they serve the special meals first, He hid his and my mom’s one behind my chair, and asked for new meals. Wow, great examples. *grins* During the landing, Both me and David had air pressure problems. His was at the nose and went up to the forehead, while mine was alot of pain in the ears. (I’m not talking about the normal one where you can swallow or yawn to make it go away.) When we finally reached the ground, my pain slowly, SLOWLY, went away.
When we entered the airport, almost everything seemed to be in Chinese characters, and this lady(who looked like an older version of Eirena) asked me (in english) to write down my seat number but her slang was really hard to understand, so I misunderstood that she asked me (in chinese) to sign my name. So I signed half way, and she said, impatiantly to go ahead. oops. When we met our tour guides (Mr.Peng, who speaks only chinese, and Allan, who comes from malaysia and can speak english.) they told us that that was already considered “day 2″.
Everybody in the tour were abit dissapointed, but there was nothing we could do about it. Oh, and the immigration people couldn’t recognize me as me in my passport (which wasn’t taken very long ago) which is flattering cause the picture is NOT good.
i gtg for now. But i’ll continue this post soon. I wont put it in a new post, i’ll just add to this. tataz~

We went to Tianemen square after that which was across the road.
For lunch we ate at the “elephant” where they cooked a dish with a stone and gave us some entertainment.
Temple of Heaven. (or harvest, i’m not sure which)
The best dish there, it had cubes of bread and prawns.
Every single night we stayed in China, people would be playing with firecrackers until the morning.
I shared room with David and Michael.

Yes! i’m finally back from China! Oh how I love Malaysia! Did you miss me?
It was an awesome 8 day holiday, and i’m still suffering abit from the jetlag. I will do a post on all 8 days SOON (including LOADS of pictures, as I have a DSLR now!)

Yes, I’m going to do a post on TOD. (Tabernacle Of David) (my old church) (where I went to for the first 9~10 years of my life almost every Sunday)
I decided to do this post because i wished someone from TOD “happy birthday” and the reply was “aww… you still remember me” Then I recalled a time when I actually smsed Melodie, and she said “You remember her rite?.”
Suddenly I have realized they don’t know how much i miss them. How everytime I see their pics on the Feast Of Tabernacles i feel like crying because I miss it, the fruits that would be put beside the stage, the dancing, the colourful things the people would hold up to let the kids run under. The Passover, where the kids would get to eat lunch that had quail eggs in it.
I miss the people. I miss my friends. I even miss the church building, because every picture I look at, that is inside the church building is filled with memories. Sanctuary 2, the kitchen, even the gate, (I remember searching for sweets during a treasure hunt there.) I feel sad for not being mature enough to join the youth before I left, but I still remember the first thing Rachel Yao shared at the youth when they were letting us try. (It was about sheep being stupid =) ) I miss the mushroom soup with rice and meatballs ( I still haven’t eaten any nicer mushroom soup with rice than that) I remember how much it had hurt, when after I had left, and I came back for camp, you called me a “visitor.” I remember when we were asked to do the dances and songs. I remember disliking being leader of a group at camp because some would not listen to me, but in the end it taught me patience. I remember how, when cell group came to my house, when they leave my room would be in a mess.
So you see, if I can still remember all these things that aren’t important. How can I forget you all? You were and still are, my family =)

I am officially inspired by some people’s blogs, to write like this instead of what i have been doing so far. I’m trying my best to not put a smiley face, or the “…” or any malaysian slang that is not quoted. It. Is. Hard. How on earth am i going to do that essay competition? Oh no! I realized I have not wrote about the essay competition on this blog.
The essay competition is organized by scholastic books and the winners get 300 USD (i think) 13~ 18 years old has to write 800~1000 words in the essay. Normally i would be like. “Nah, too much trouble” but one out of the three topics was “if i ruled a country…”
I would name it Maelaysia.
Surely, i can put a smileyface at the closing?
